B.Data processing

We process data as part of the operation of our website. Data processing also includes the disclosure of the data in the form of its transfer to other parties.

An adequacy decision of the EU Commission, the EU-US Privacy Shield, is in place for the transfer of data to the USA. Through the adequacy decision the Commission has certified that the guarantees for the transfer of data to the USA based on the EU-US Privacy Shield correspond to the data protection standards in the EU. To the extent that we transfer data to the USA we have identified that our service-providers participate in the EU-US Privacy Shield.

The data involved, the purposes of the processing, the legal basis, the receiving parties and transfers to third countries are specified in detail in the following statement:

a)     Log file

We record your visit to our web pages. The following data is processed at this time: the name of the web page accessed, the data and time of the access, the volume of data transferred, the browser type and version, the operating system you use, the referrer’s URL (the website you previously visited), your IP address and the provider involved in the access. This is necessary to ensure the security of the website. We process the data accordingly based on our legitimate interests as set out in Article 6, Paragraph 1 f) of the GDPR. The log file is deleted after seven days unless the file is needed for investigations into or evidence for specific breaches of the law which become known during the retention period.

In the course of the hosting, all the data which has to be processed in connection with the operation of this website is saved. This is necessary to make the operation of the website possible. We process the data accordingly based on our legitimate interests as set out in Article 6, Paragraph 1 f) of the GDPR. In order to make the use of certain functions possible we use what are called “cookies”. These are small data packages which are saved on your terminal and exchanged with other providers. Some of the cookies we use are deleted immediately after you close your browser (these are called “session cookies”). Other cookies remain on your terminal and enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit (“persistent cookies”).

You can delete all the cookies saved on your terminal and set up the standard browsers in such a way that the retention of cookies is prevented. In this case you may have to change some settings each time you visit this website and accept that many functions are impaired.

We use cookies in connection with the following functions:

Google Analytics

The information created by the cookie about the use of the website (including your IP address) is transferred to a server belonging to Google in the USA where it is saved. Direct reference to a person in connection with the stored data is therefore normally impossible. Only in exceptional cases is the complete IP address transferred to a server in the USA where it is abbreviated. You can object to the collection of data at any time with effect for the future by using the Google Analytics’ deactivation add-on for browsers at
