What’s in a name!
Just as we are exemplary representatives for the region we grew up in, Hamecker is typically us. It is the nickname for the inhabitants of Bad Bergzabern, our home town. There are many myths about the origin of this name, none of which can be proven. Our favourite version is the one that hints to the fruit of the hornbeam:

Just as these little nuts spread their helicopter-leaves and propel themselves away with the wind, we will send out our finest wines to share a piece of our culinary culture with the world.

Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, RED and a ROYAL red blend.
